Why We Serve

The vision behind HerHaven is rooted in a lifelong commitment to serving others. Jessie and her husband, Norby, have dedicated their lives to ministry and community outreach, believing that every act of kindness has the power to bring hope and transform lives.

Through their outreach ministry, Sprout, they have been blessed to serve hundreds of families by providing nutritious meals, Thanksgiving dinners, Christmas gifts for children, and essential items such as baby formula and diapers for families facing difficult times.

Their years of serving have given them firsthand insight into the challenges many women and families face. They are not strangers to this cause. Instead, they have answered a calling to walk alongside those experiencing hardship with compassion, dignity, and practical support.

HerHaven was born from that same calling, a desire to provide more than temporary assistance. It exists to offer hope, encouragement, resources, and a safe place where women and their children can begin rebuilding their lives with confidence and purpose.

Every donation, regardless of the amount, helps make that mission possible. Each gift provides tangible support while reminding women and families that they are seen, valued, and never alone.
